Dr.Balaji.P.R. passed his MBBS from Kastruba Medical College, Manipal in 1995. After working as Casualty Medical Officer in PSG Institute of Medical Sciences, Coimbatore for about 2 years, he joined M.D. anaesthesiology in Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, Karanataka and completed his MD with gold medal in 2001. He immediately joined for PDCC course in KLES heart foundation, Belgaum and completed successfully in 2002. He has received K.L.E.Society ‘GOLD MEDAL’ for the year 2001 in November 2002.
In January 2003, he joined Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, Coimbatore as junior consultant in cardiac anaesthesiology and worked there till January 2006. Then he shifted from cardiac anaesthesia to general team of anaesthesiologists in the same institution and continues to work as consultant anaesthesiologist till date.
